Wedding Checklist for planning your happy day
Date
You need to set up the date well in advance, with the Schafalm, the registry office, the church etc. Your date is only guaranteed once you receive a written confirmation from the Schafalm.
Packages
We offer wedding packages that include meals, drinks and other additional services. We are happy to send you prices via email.
Program & Scheduling
In consultation with the Schafalm, plan a detailed program of events. Ideally, you will nominate one person, your so-called master of ceremonies, who will be responsible for ensuring your wedding runs smoothly and will be available as a point of contact for your other guests.
Hotels & Accommodations
We recommend reserving your hotel accommodations will in advance. Hotels are often willing to "block off rooms", allowing invited guests to go ahead and reserve their own rooms themselves.
Music
Make arrangements for a band, musician or DJ well ahead of time. We are happy to send you a list of recommended musicians by email.
Photographers & Videographers
We recommend that you check out the portfolios of the photographers and videographers on their own websites. Make reservations well in advance.
Decorations
Of course, we will decorate the tables and rooms in consultation with the happy couple. Please bring any special decorations (vases, candles, garlands, photos, table decorations, etc.) in advance of the wedding.
Wedding Cake
Order your wedding cake or various sweet treats through our partner confectioners well in advance. Have them deliver your order straight to the Schafalm. We will take care of returning any borrowed items on your behalf!
Taxi and Bus
We recommend returning to your accommodations at the end of the night either by local taxi (Taxi Tom Schladming) or a specially ordered bus (Planai Bus). We are happy to share our own experiences with you and answer all your questions.
Gifts & Miscellaneous
We give each happy couple the opportunity to have a car drive up to the Schafalm in order to store gifts and valuables overnight. The car can be picked up again the next day along with any decorations and other smaller items.
