At the summit of the Planai, at 1,900 meters, embark on the dream of a shared future – a wish we have been fulfilling for countless bridal couples from near and far for over a decade.
Civil, church, or free wedding ceremonies can be held, and the venue rental price depends on the number of guests!
At the "summit venue" there is a fixed wooden structure with a sunshade, providing protection for the bridal couple and guests in warm temperatures and light rain.
If the ceremony cannot take place at the summit due to bad weather, there are several alternatives depending on the type of wedding.
Another highlight is the ascent in the "VIP gondola" for the bridal couple, while the remaining guests take the Planai 10-seater gondola.
From the mountain station, an easy 10-minute walk leads up to the Planai summit. Sturdy footwear is highly recommended!
For guests with physical impairments, as well as pregnant and elderly guests, we offer a free shuttle service from the mountain station to the summit.

Event manager Mario Egger has organized countless weddings in recent years and now also offers free weddings for "his" bridal couples on the summit of the Planai at 1,900m above sea level!
The free wedding ceremony is designed according to the personal wishes of the bride and groom and the wedding speech is written individually.
Whether soulful, relaxed, natural, romantic, humorous or honest - Mario Egger will find the right mix for your personal wedding on the Schladming Planai in mutual discussions!
If, unfortunately, the weather does not cooperate with a free wedding, the wedding can alternatively be held in the Schafalm.
CHURCH WEDDINGS

In addition to weddings at the protestant or catholic churches in Schladming, you can also have a church ceremony on Planai summit. You are also welcome to bring your own pastor with you from "home".
