Genuss-Specht-Wirte
A group of 12 hut operators in Schladming joined forces under the banner "Genuss-Specht-Wirte" with the goal - as local ambassadors of good taste - to share their love for outstanding food and highest quality with their guests.
Actually, a long-overdue move since, even though the Planai lies on the extreme outer edge of Styria, it does lie in the very heart of a region that is renowned for the extraordinary quality of its produce!
Each member business created its own Genuss-Specht dish, intended to take guests' dining enjoyment to a whole new level.

Joining forces for a good cause!
Every year in January, the Genuss-Specht-Wirte host a charity evening for a good cause. In cooperation with Styrian and Lower Austrian wineries, guests wine & dine for charity, whilst also promoting networking between hut operators, wine growers and regional guests.
Guaranteeing an exceptional culinary experience every year are top regional chefs, who work their kitchen magic at the Schafalm for this special event.
All proceeds benefit different charity projects supported by the Genuss-Specht-Wirte or the wineries.
The following organizations have received financial support so far:
